National 18 Class Championships Cancelled

Following significant discussion within our own forum, it is with regret that the IOMYC will be cancelling the 2023 class championship to be held in the Isle of Man due to what is felt to be too few entries to run a viable event.

We are incredibly grateful to those who made the effort to support our event, but sadly feel that 7 visiting boats is too few, given the number of volunteer hours required to run the event. We have been in contact with the ferry company who will issue full refunds to those who have paid.

Once again, we must apologise for these circumstances and I would welcome at a later date, a discussion on what we could have done differently to attract ore numbers
