RYA Poweboat Training Level 2 - July » RYA Poweboat Training Level 2 - Day 2

This two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).

It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed and collision regulations.

We will be using our 2 larger 4.5m Tornado RIBs as well as a smaller tiller steered SIB (small inflatable boat).

An RYA Powerboat Level 2 can also be used as a International Certificate of Competency.

The course runs 0900-1700.

Please bring :

- Waterproof jacket & trousers

- Warm clothing

- Wellies/wet shoes

- Hat

- Packed Lunch (the coop is a 15 minute walk)

Changing and shower facilities are available on site.
