Peter Cope represents in the UK

Accomplished young sailor, Peter Cope has been maturing out of his Aero into a double handed 420 this winter. After spamming the majority of the UK teenager fleet on a variety of social media platforms, we are delighted that he has found a fantastic partner in Arwen Fflur of Pwhelli Yacht Club. We asked Peter for a few words on his winter season in his new boat.
"This season I have started sailing in the 420 class with Arwen Fflur, we have only just started sailing together but we are doing well! This season so far we came 17th at the winter champs (our first time sailing together) and then 12th at the Inland championships. This year we are hoping to qualify for the Europeans in Vilamoura and the world championship in Hungary. The selectors for the Europeans and worlds start 12/03/22 at Rutland, followed by an event at HISC and then the final event is in Pwhelli. I would like to thank the Yacht club for all their help over the past years and for getting me to where I am now."
We're super excited for Peter and Arwen and having watched them from the balcony of a very windy Tiger Trophy in February, I'm sure we will be hearing from this pairing.
