Kerroo Tasting Evening
Published 00:24 on 29 Oct 2025
Friday 17th October was a day that members got to learn all about a local, independent brewery. Elizabeth, co-founder of the brewery and shortlister for Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women in Beer UK 2025 Awards, popped over from Port Erin to tell us about how they started the brewery, how they decide on what to brew, and the awards that they are up for.
We got to taste three different brews, starting with Kerroo's number one selling hazy pale ale, Hey Boy. We then went onto their limited edition hazy pale ale, Longhorn (made in conjunction with Farmyard Brew Co). Finally, we were treated to their porter, Porter Erin.
The social committee would like to thank Elizabeth and Nick for coming to join us at the Clubhouse, to share with us their brews. If you would like to buy more of their beers, you can find Hey Boy on tap at the Clubhouse, and from time to time, there will be Bitter on the pump.
